Following our proven five-step management methodology, we mange your process from start to finish, ensuring the process goes smoothly.

1. Project Identification
Long before the move-in day arrives, CSI is working hard for you. We begin by meeting with you and your team to define the overall scope of the project. We collect existing data, verify plans and specifications, physically measure the space, identify ergonomic and personnel concerns, and establish budgets and estimate timelines.

We also evaluate what resources are needed to complete the project to your satisfaction. We take into account the complexity of the project, the manpower requirements and any specific site restrictions that may impact the job. If needed, CSI will provide assistance with furniture specifications, recommendations or selection, as well as delivery or storage throughout the process.

2. Project Planning
With the scope of the project identified, CSI is ready to start planning your relocation, reconfiguration or installation. Planning requires a firm understanding of the importance of communication – with our clients, with the building owners, with our installation team, and with your employees. We attend project meetings, distribute estimated schedules and moving tips, and coordinate communications among all parties involved with the project to keep everyone informed.

The planning stage is also where CSI’s Space Planning and Design services provide detailed Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of the space. Starting with block-type layouts through detailed CAD layouts, CSI creates innovative and unique floor plans that address the specific goals and work practices of your business. The result is an intuitive work environment that meets all of your objectives.

3. Project Implementation
Whether the project is an office reconfiguration, new workstation installation, or corporate relocation, this is the stage in the process where the physical space is changed.

CSI coordinates our team of certified installers through the packing of belongings and dismantling of workstations, to the delivery of the new or used modular office furniture, to its assembly and then on through the clean-up and walk-through. We manage the resources necessary to complete the job on-time, on-budget and to your satisfaction.

CSI manages all the logistics to make your office work-ready.

4. Project Coordination
Proper coordination is critical to the success of any installation, relocation or reconfiguration project. CSI manages the details of each project with ease. We watch the budget while meeting established timelines. We coordinate modular furniture inventory and/or storage while balancing manpower for installation. We synchronize trucking and cubicle delivery with building availability. We also coordinate with third party vendors such as electronic equipment, data or electrical contractors to fit installation schedules.

CSI coordinates the finer details to take the worry out of your office installation, reconfiguration or relocation project.

5. Project Wrap-Up
As the project nears completion, CSI continues to monitor events and activities to be sure everything meets the scope as identified in the first phase - ‘Project Identification’.

Our project managers perform a walk-through to double check all work for completion and quality. At that time, any items needing additional attention are noted and our installation team immediately addresses these concerns.

We conclude each project with a wrap-up meeting to ensure all punch list items have been taken care of to your satisfaction. This also gives CSI an opportunity to gather valuable feedback on our performance, quality and process.
